About Me

My photo
Jo Loring-Fisher
Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom
Up until a few months ago I was living and working in Devizes in Wiltshire very close to Stonehenge. My husband's job has taken us back to Norfolk. Wiltshire is a special place to me, not least because I set up Red Flag Studio with the talented and very lovely Juliet Abbott. As as artist, Red Flag Studio was where I worked producing illustrations, paintings and drawings and selling them from our gallery at the studio. I also taught children's clubs in term time and in the holidays. I also enjoy teaching adults basic drawing and painting techniques. Returning to Norfolk is a huge change for me and I'm just working out my way. (One reason why I have started this blog) I love walking at the coast and collecting the treasures that the sea has brought ashore. I love books and reading. Children's book illustrations are of particular interest to me. I also love wildlife and nature, watching and taking photos of what I see in the countryside. I'm also interested in crafts of all sorts although I am painfully inexperienced in these fields, and would love to try some out.
